Flagstone Concrete Coating

We recently finished this back patio concrete overlay and pool deck refinishing project. The customer had an unfinished concrete back patio that they wanted to give a new look with a flagstone finish. So, we applied a skim coat to the patio, which we then taped out with the flagstone pattern the homeowners were looking for. Then we applied the top coat of the concrete overlay over the skim coat and fiber tape (this is a special tape with strong fibers that we need to use so it doesn’t break when being pulled up) and gave it a textured finish to mimic flagstone. Once the top coat dried, we added several water-based stain colors in tan and red tones to give it a blended, warm finish and then pulled the tape to reveal the “grout” lines. Finally, we added two coats of sealer to protect the finished product. With the ten-year warranty included with this product, the customer is ensured to enjoy this finish for years to come.

We also covered their outdated and cracked exposed aggregate pool deck with a fresh concrete overlay in a modern finish and desert beige sealer that beautified their pool. The customers were wonderful to work with and loved everything about their new back patio and pool deck! Contact us today to see how we can make your concrete beautiful!
